Photos Lifted Sport Tracs Picture Thread!

I'd be a lot more upset dragging glossy paint over rocks. The rattle can has done just fine in my case. Just gotta know what you're using the truck for and paint accordingly. Or just be prepared to have them professionally sprayed each time you get off the pavement because if you're like me, you haven't come back without kissing the front bumper on some rocks.

The before/after pictures are a great comparison. Truck looks great!

Yea definitely as far as looks go i'd definitely would spray them gloss black. But offroading scratches everything up anyway you should see the sides of my truck. Tree branches have tore up truck up on the trails but its all good love doing it.

New member, long time lurker here.
Your trucks are beautiful and the inspiration for mine, I need to catch up though.
Just a TT and warrior shackles for the rear.
32" Cooper ATs on Pro Comps.

Next on my list are 33" duratracs...IF I can find a way to fit it without the tires rubbing on the inside whenever I turn.

Great looking Trac Pawe. To fit the 33's you'll need to do quite a bit of trimming without a body lift.

Here's mine when I had a 1.75" TT, lift shackles and 265/70/16's.

Thanks MidnightRebel07.
I already have a 3" TT lift for the front and warrior shackles for the rear.
Me and a friend mounted 33s before using the same 16" pro comps I have right now, they did not rub on the fenders or plastic parts but it rubbed on the exposed long metal rod part by the wheels (I dont know what it's called) whenever I turn.
I guess a 1" spacer would get rid of that problem but the wheels might scrape the fenders. Trying to look beautiful really is a PITA.

Pretty sure you're talking about the sway bar that its rubbing against. It has a bushing right before the curve going under the truck right? Not much you can do about that other than a spacer like you said as taking off the front sway bar is asking for trouble if driving on the road. If you did end up with a spacer you would need to get some for the back or it would look goofy IMO with the front wheels so much wider than the rear.

Is your Trac 2WD? If so than you're good with a 3"TT, if not then I would suggest taking it down to 2". Check out Lono's build thread, it's what you're looking for if you don't wanna do a body lift and still fit 33's.

@ 01St, I looked it up and it is the sway bars that it is rubbing against.

@ Midnight, I have a 2wd so we maximized the TT for the front. I'll check out Lono's thread, I believe he has the white ST.

Thanks!

Hammer Down,
Been meaning to ask, do you have a full size spare under or in the bed?

I had a full size stock spare under there, but that doesn't do me any good. I've got a 5th matching wheel/tire that I just throw up in the rack if I'm going in a road trip.
