Hey everyone. I got an 86 F150 and im trying to figure out how to lift the front end about 3". Coil spacers only give you 2", and I dont feel like paying a hundred bucks for some rubber pieces to lift it. I am trying to make some metal spacers and I think it is gonna work. Anyone have any other ideas on how to lift it 3"? Im trying to fit 35's or 37's on this beast. Its already got a 3" body lift and 33's.

I got the front lifted 3" today. I used some metal parts that I found at menards and made my own "coil spacers". Total cost for 3" was about $30. Its freakin huge now. The top of the grill is nearly 5' from the ground now.

I would like to see a pic.

Never mind I seen them in your other thread. I figure out that was you.

A SAS is basically bolt-in on that truck. If you are lifting it, might as well do it right. :D

I will more than likely end up going solid in the near future. Ill have to see how well the Dana 44 TTB holds up to me beating on it. What axles will nearly bolt right on?

I bought some 3" blocks for the rear this morning, and started putting them on tonight. I only got one side done though. So I'll have to finish that up another night. I also took out the bench seat and swapped in the front seats from my 92 parts explorer.
