In the long run it would be better to buy a front end lift as a complete kit, (Less hassle) look at the people who are looking seperate brackets etc.., if you do not have money spend now save up or buy a used lift.

I agree with jrgaylor to buy a kit. The reason is that you can not use the stock brackets with more that 2" of lift....you will never be able to align it. I'm planning on doing a soa in the future (after I graduate)....what i'm going to do/what I want to do is go with bent Ibeams up front since you can get so much travel out of them....and they're cool as heck! If you went that route I beleive you can use the stock brakets (SOMEONE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG) then put the 4" trailmaster springs on and your golden. I would think that you would also need to modify the steering linkage but i'm not sure what you would have to do. I'm not 100% positive but I thought that heard on here that desert rat sells them...and will take the core (don't quote me that please). Here's a page from therangerstation about the process of bending IBeams. The guy there modified his stock beams but I would deffintily not recomend this unless your a wiz at welding.
If you dont want to go this route, you will probably have to buy a kit.
