On one of the EF trips we measured the wheel well and it at least wouldn't stuff 35s at full flex. I don't like rubbing on trails.
There was an ST a while back on 35x12.5x22 I think. It's not me but he seemed to pull it off pretty well. Even went to some mud bogs in Florida. Granted 24s are a whole new world.
