I want to mount 2 or 4 lights on top of my front bumper... but dont have 400$+ to dish out for a brush guard. I have all the exlectronics i need, just need a way to mount lights... the front bumper dont stick out far enough for me to mount the lights i want to put there... so i need something like a baja style bar... i saw where warn has a Trans4mer brush guard for decent prices, but its very vague on details. How have you guys mounted your lights on a budget? Im thinking seriously about fabbing up my own bumper... can anyone give me ideas? pics? i dont want to molest the stock bumper... so lets keep that in mind.

...i've seen them mounted in the grill...or you can make brackets and mount them anywhere you want...:D

Well... i see its kinda hard to mount 6'' offroad spotlights in the grill lol... and i dont want them out there un protected... that just askin to get em busted...

..wish you would have said they were 6" lights and i wouldn't have suggested putting them there...;)
...there are lots of x's on here with out brushguards running 6" lights...good luck...:D

A good idea I've been told is to buy a length of like 2x2 Angle iron. Then drill holes in that and use the holes from the Plate holder do mount it to your bumper. But, as you mentioned, You don't want them unprotected. So that wouldn't work. I got mine from a friend for free. Never underestimate the kindness/Giving you free stuffness of your friends.
