has this happened to anybody else? for some reason my lights won't come on. i turn the knob once and the tails, corners, and gauges are still off. but when i turn them all the way the headlights come on only. i checked the fuses and they all seem to be good. any idea what the problem could be?

If all the fuses are ok and both the gauges and external lamps are affected, it's probably the headlight switch.

I agree with Alec. A very similar thing happened on my 93. I would (in my case) pull the switch and headlights, and taillights would come on but the dash lights wouldn't. If I wiggled the heck out of the switch I might get them to come on for awhile. Had the switch replaced, the old switch had one or two connectors that had just melted. Anyway, I think that would be a good place to start.

GoodLuck
CP :)

yeah it sounds like i need a light switch then. i wiggled it a few times to bring them back to life, but now they are just shot. thanks guys.
