sounds liek hes emailing at the same time - we should get a deal for talkign so freely on the most popular explorer web site and drumming up free advertiseing.

BTW- his reply to me:

"Depending on the truck, they range from 25 lb- 36lbs. The 300 series is a bumper mount. I do carry a frame mount deluxe version. Free shipping inside mainland USA!"

note he didnt give me the price for frame mount. actually i probably dont want that at this point due to body lift. i can fab frame mounting brackets if i think its too weak.

that is pretty light for a brush guard. but for that price you cant expect too much.

On my 92 xlt I had to fab mounts for my brush guard becase of 4 inch suspension lift was not that bad.Now I am looking for one for my 92 sport. The flat black one must be the frame mount version at 275.

jt- None whatsoever. Very happy so far :-)

IF ya got any questions. Just ask.

My chrome grill gaurd weighed in about 55 pounds. It is the go rhino one. The only thing I would use that one for would be for show. The bars dont look too thick to me. I wouldnt put any real weight on it.

I talked to a guy off of ebay that bought one of those 150 dollar brushguards and he is very pleased with it.

But it is a bumper mount brushguard. But he said the quality is very good and the shipping is fast and free.

bumper mount? would that mean it would fit with my body lift with no modification? more info please :)

From what the guy said to me you use exsisting holes that are already in your bumper,it also has brackets for off road lights. For 150 shipped to your door is cheap.I have contacted two people that have bought from him and they are very satisfied

for us late models you have to drill afew holes and mounts with tabs.. and yes it will work with body lift as it does not attach at all to the frame. i guess we'll find out in a few weeks i think im going to get one. i cant get past the free shipping and the fact that the 3 times ive emailed the guy i get a reply within a half an hour.

I know that is real cheap,I have to wait untill may untill I can order one.I emailed him twice and got instant replys sounds like he has it on the ball.
