some one has had tohave seen this...

do you mean on each side of the winshield? Ive seen it on alot of toy trucks and j**ps. I think It would look cool but you would need to drill holes in the body?!?

Do them like cop spot lights, I think that looks best.

Ive seen them on the hood too but I think they are useless there unless you're doing desert or pre-running. Cauz on the trail, the hood blocks the light that would otherwise fall directly in front of your vehicle (for rocks, logs, etc..)

i want to point them at like 45* and put a cop spot light on the pillar....

how do yall rekon i remove the cowl? i didnt see any bolts...

You need to check you state laws before you get into this. Most states have some type of law about how many forward facing lights you can have, and how many lights are allowed above the headlights. For instance, Va says you can only have 4 forward facing lights on at any time including, and below the headlights. You cannot have any lights on that are above the headlights while on the highway. In fact, any lights above the headlights are technically supposed to have covers on them so you can't turn them on while on the highway.

I've seen a bunch of pickups get tickets for "illegal" lights on the roll bars.

they have covers...

I Thoguht about doign the same thing with my S10. Here is a picture of a guy who did it on CTW. Sorry that it's Chevy. But here it is.

"the deck lights are actually 55w track lights from home depot (i used the narrow beam version) i built the mount from 2"pvc pipe and custom aluminum brackets. they're insanly bright and only run a total cost of $15 to build. the only tricky part was fabricating a terminal to fit. i used a standerd female slide terminal and cut it in half longways." - RadioFlyer97 - CTW.

I might consider it if I could fine covers for it. I just think they might look cool on the front of an Explorer. The only thing keeping me from doing it to my S10 was I wasn't sure what the laws were.
Here's a Link to the whole Thread. It's pretty sweet how many lights this guy has on his truck.
