I did send an email on Thursday evening. I ran at the track today and the best I could muster was a 13.49@101.2. Significantly weaker than the 103+ mph I had earlier.

Were track temps the same?

Also what mods do you have? 101mph is not bad for a basic performance DD tune IMO.

No, it was more humid last night though I think. DA was +1221 though.

I have an opened grille to ram air scoop, 3rd cat delete, cat back, 93 high boost tune and 170* thermostat.

What was the DA when you ran previous?

I put the 170 stat and uploaded the high boost/170 tune. Did not feel a change at all. My problem is I am at 5200ft+ elevation and I do not think these stock turbos have any more left in them.

By chance do you have pics of this grille mod??

What did you do different to the vehicle? Anything ? Even as simple as re-gaping the plugs? More or different fuel load? Changed tire pressure? Unhooked the battery? Must be something besides air density..............

swapped to a revised tune from LMS.

Well then, I'm sure you know what to do, or try. Switch back to the previous tune on a similar temp and A/D day just to see. Having some experience in the Mustang world, often minor changes have big impacts on runs, and often tune changes, supposed to be good, can cost you tenths in short order...
On a similar note: I'm not sure on the Explorer transmission, if it has adaptive learning or not, but if it does, pay particular note to the way it is driven daily, or even back and forth to the track. It's a well known fact in the Mustang world that this "feature" can have considerable impact on performance, if not re-set on a regular basis. A little research on this might save you a lot of head scratching, when you just can't figure what changed. It's easy to reset, at least on the Mustangs, by just disconnecting the battery for a short time, to reset back to orig parameters....If you notice any drop or lack or performance, I'd look here first.....best regards Plum

Hey folks just wanted to jump in here and let you know that we are developing a new tune for the Explorer Sport. We are calling it the xv1. It will be the most performance oriented and aggressive tune that we deem safe for use. It will be the closest thing that we offer to the tune that we are currently running on our record setting Explorer Sport. Stay tuned for more updates! -Chris

That must be what Dan was talking about in my email. I can't wait.

Will this tune be included for people who already run your 93 performance tune?

Chris,
any timeframe for the xv1 tune? What will be different between it and the current high boost tune?
