Locating the remote keypad code on a SPORT

On our 99 Sport it was behind the l/s rear interior trim panel & I was able to access it through the door for the jack but the sticker with the code on the module was facing the body & I could not read it even using a mirror, but I was able to remove it using a 1/4" or 5/16th's socket to get the code.

That's where it was on our '97 Sport. I assume it would be in the same place on a '95, but IDK.

I found this with a google search, 95 - 01 Explorer's are in the same location. Check out this link.
