04 sport trac battery is dead and the key won't open the door how do I get in

tow truck to open door? i hate posts like this. you never know if the guy is legit, or trying to steel someones truck

Insert key into door lock. Turn until door lock lifts. Lift handle. Open door. Just could not help myself.

Key locks tend to not work because they are hardly ever used on most vehicles that have keypads and/or key fobs.

Spray WD40 into the key slot, take you key and wiggle it back and forth in the lock until the lock turns. Not 1 of the 5 key locks worked on my '01 ST when I bought it. Now they all work.
