So, I just finished the Installation of the new Cat's and Cat back on the ZAPV543(Formerly The TrackJumper),and I find Out that the diff is open.before the new exhaust it did not have enough power to breaka wheel lose turning a corner....now it does. What my question is,when I go to the PullaPart later this week how can I figure out which of the ford axles will have have aLSD..Im pretty sure that none of the trucks out ther will have a Locker(Preferred).....Since Ive been generating my income from sales at the flea market on the weekends....As You might guess I cant afford to buy the Nice new Lockers on Ebayz....Thanks For looking...Ive done a few searchs in this forum and cant find the pertinant infos....

look for a little metal tag hanging off one of the diff cover bolts. it should have the code to what kind is inside. find the diff code page on this forum and print it out then bring it with you to the salvage yard. good luck!

Sticker on the door is the fastest way of determining but isnt 100% as the axle could have been swappdd. So really the only sure way is to pop the diff cover to look for the giant "S" spring in the middle of the carrier.

make sure you print out the code page from this forum and bring it with you when you go. without it, the door codes, or the codes on the diff tag wont mean anything.
