locking problems

i have 98 xplorer eddie bauer my truck doesn't lock from the keyless remote but unlocks and the alarm is still armed from the remot. as well the lock buttons on the doors do the same thing but the lock at the back of truck locks all the doors ne one have an idea what could b wrong?

broken splice... common problem... lots of posts.... search and yea shall find.

i have already done the splice in the boot and have taken the door off n havent found ne thing yet

its a splice not a break. Its most likely in the rear passenger area... there is a good post with pictures.
