G'day there. Got myself a full set of raised King Springs that I'm getting fitted next week. Was told by the mechanic it might be wise to invest in some longer struts to accommodate the lift. Standard struts will be okay for road use, but because I will doing some beach work a light 4x4ing longer struts are recommended. I'm going to order BTF longer arms as well when funds permit, but I get the struts first. Almost no parts support for explorers here in Oz so I will order from the U.S.

Anyone got some suggestions on brands and specific models. Looking for decent quality without going to mad on the budget. Found plenty of KYB, Monroe, ProComp and Rancho, but can't really figure if any more suitable than others in terms of being longer than factor standard.

Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.

How much longer are the springs???

King Springs quote the lift to be 40-50mm, and from what I've seen in pics of a couple of other 3rd gens fitted with the same springs here in Oz that figure looks pretty accurate.
