Under my plastic side thingys

Ewwwwww , the plastic thing sorta "fell off" and revealed the uglyness. Well it didn't really fall off , I removed the one screw that was holding it on and then it fell off. lol

my 92 isnt any better...its actually worse, make sure you tackle that asap, dont let it get worse like mine haha the bottoms of my doors are rotting now

my 98 is the same under my plastic. I don't know what to do about it. It needs new rockers but I don't have the money to have a body shop do it. Or the tools and garage to do it myself.

I think cutting off the rust and bedlining whats left is a cheap and effective method.
worked for me anyway

To be honest I am afraid to take my plastic off, lol. When I took my side steps off a couple weeks ago they were like hanging on by a thread. Instead of taking the bolts out i ended up breaking the rusted sheet metal around them with just a couple turns.

I decided to try a slightly better looking fix then just paint

I pop riveted some really flimsy metal on and will paint over that , lol.

Not anymore! muhahahahaha

Naw but really the flash makes the paint look like it doesn't match but it actually matches really well in normal light. I'll take some days pictures when we get nice weather. It's funny the only rust now is on the plastic lol
