looking for a clear 3rd brake light.....any ideas?

i got clear tail lights and now i want my 3rd brake light to match because every other light on the truck is clear. does anyone know where i can get one? thanks.

found one for an expedition. anyone know if its the same size?

I am not sure what the legality in Canada or the USA, but i am sure all brake lights must be red as how is anyone suppose to really know if your stopping... I suppose when they hit they will know.

If i cna find a pair or three brake lights for my model clear i will try them out, but i am positive i will get a ticket in Canada if caught or if an accident occurs i may be at fault for no proper taillights.

i believe that as long as they light up red, they are legal. the lexus rx330 and infiniti fx comes from the factory with it being clear.

It all depends on where you live. In MA, altering your lights at all is illegal.

it is legal in canada as long as the lights are red, trust me i asked a police officer about it! they can be clear as long as you have red light when stopping, same goes for signaling.

Sorry for bumping an oldish thread, but I'm thinking of picking up a unit from wooddashexperts.com -- they have excellent customer service, so if it doesn't fit, the most I would be out is like 35 bucks (25% of purchase price + shipping), without having to worry about being stuck with an unreturnable item. It might just be me being hopeful, but it looks the same to me, between the Explorer and Exped.
