Looking for advice on a new truck....

I am thinking I will get a Ford, was looking at 96 or older F-250, prefer a diesel, extended cab 4x4. Any comments, things to avoid, things to look for? I will be putting a six inch (or 5, or 5.5....) lift in it while I still have the ex to drive. Any feedback? Anyone direct me to a good ford truck site where I can find info on lifts, max tire size, etc?

They must be pretty good trucks. I viewed alot of them while looking for a truck and they were pretty expensive with alot of miles. Thats the diesel ones around that year. But hey its a ford they all last forever.

my grandpas company has a ton of these for sale cause they just got new ones but they are crew cab long beds. all 7.3s and all over 150k miles. these things are rock soild! they really will last forever!

if you get one with say 100k it will last you atleast another 200k without probs
