I am looking for some fog lights that I can keep on always when my head lights are on and not blind others.

I have a 1997 Ford Explorer Sport. I know all about the Piaa 1500 series and all that but, won't those blind a driver if I have those on continually?

I am just looking for something to increase my vision at night and sit in my stock fog light area.

I already have aftermarket head lights, but want more :)

I have little yellow Pilot fogs from Autozone. Yellow lights are less likely to blind other drivers, and these are aimed properly. Not nearly as blinding as white fogs and they work better in rain due to the yellow color.

truth is the more expensive and better fogs you get the less they will blind others. i have the piaa pro 90 xts which are a fog and driving combination. the fogs in them have a 110 watt output, but they would never bother another driver because the piaa lens system is so advanced and high quality that none of the brightness of the light ever gets higher than 13 inches off the ground (the height i have them mounted at) the 1500s will be the same way.

i second what alec and black magic said, AIM them RIGHT and you won't ever blind another driver!

i believe the proper aim is 3"-4" below your headlight beam @ 25' away.

here is a pic of the pattern my fogs lay on my garage door from 30 feet away. the alignment of your fogs is dependent upon how high you have them off of the ground- mine are mounted 12 inches off the ground and from 28 feet the "cut-off" is at 11 inches. as you can see they probably won't bother other drivers too much
