Don't get discouraged when you realize that this isn't the 80s and 90s any more. You're going to be stuck in a limbo between over-educated and under-experienced. Unless you're in school for a trade position, you'll need a Masters. The BS/BA is the new high school diploma.

I know, its aggravating going from 710 a week in army to less then that. Ive tried for plenty of places paying 35-40k a year with the right skills and experience and getting turned down. Not even getting an interview. Its only aggravating wanting to work so bad, but being forced to stay on unemployment for almost 2 yrs, that ending, now being like "f$&@!". I do part time UPS package Handler for less then 200 a week just to hold out. Hoping to get into their IT Dept.

Yeah, I spent a year unemployed after graduating from the University of Georgia. Currently working at Home Depot and recently got promoted to a supervisor but I'm also working on my Masters in Public Administration. I DO NOT want to make a career in retail. I may even have to go on and get a law degree if I'm going to stay in the small town. :banghead:

I love the Camburg kit on my son's 02 ST. We took it out in the desert the other day and really put that thing thru its paces. The added wheel travel from the front kit was evident in the way it handled the desert roads filled with washes and whoops. Im still working on the rear spring rate. It has lift shackles and an overly stiff add a leaf. It has the Pro Comp MX-6 adjustable shocks on all four corners. We are really happy. I will be going to the dual Bilsteins soon.

Do you have the single shock kit? i'm trying to decide which to get right now. I wont be doing alot of fast offroading just local trails, maybe Moab next year.

too many people think college is the end all be all to always being wanted in the workplace. you have to think of it as gravy. the meat and potatos are your work experience, your mouth piece and your work ethic. try to work in the field (full time if you can) while you are in school. this will give you an edge when you come out as opposed to all your contemporaries who spent all their time in a starbucks treating studying for their philosophy exam like it was going to save the world. get every edge you can while you are in school so when you get out you hit the ground running. and i dont mean internships and ap courses. im talking networking. real networking with people in the industry you want to be in.

i grew up in the mission district of sf during the crack boom of the 80's. by the age of 26 i had a job people would kill for, get to visit tons of places, party in places you didnt know existed, owned three nice rides and owned 2 houses. i graduated from college when i was 28. everything i have i earned through work ethic, networking, and not being affraid of getting rejected, not my degree. my college degree will only serve me when im middle aged, when i plan on getting into teaching. first rule of the music business: people will only work with you if you can convince them that you can make them money. that should be what they teach everybody in any business, and everyone should have that mentality when going into an interview. ok, enough of my preaching about college, lets talk trucks!

Ohh and i still have my body lift sitting in box that i never put on my 99 ranger before it crapped the bed. Im pretty sure it fits on my 98 explorer. Wish i could find an RCD Lift, hearing alot about Dixon Bros kids not being the best for up north in the salt belt. Im sure they sell stuff to cover most components though... Or something could be made up.
