I'm thinking of removing the factory running boards in the future as I'm planning on going from a 31" tire to a 32" tire.
I had my 31's put on some 10" wide wheels & had to trim a small section on the runnung board where it wraps around the wheel well.
So know I will need to remove the factory running boards.
I prefer to just remove them and leave as is but the wife needs some kind of step to get in my Mountaineer.
I was thinking of the Westin which will use the stock mounting locations but I am also thinking of using CARR step tubes for the front & rear doors.
What does everyone think. I'm open to any & all sugestions.
