OK I am new to the forum and am looking to replace my old faded headlights on my 1998 Eddie Bauer with some headlights that actually light up the road.I allready bought a Pair of Silverstar Plus bulbs but with the actual headlight assemblies all faded they didnt do much better then stock.

Was hoping some of you could help me out.

Thanks!!!

They have clear diamond cut ones on ebay. They look nice, however I have heard mixed feelings about their quality.

my 2000 sport came with after market clear headlights so i cant tell you where to get a set except from ebay. Just wanted to add my oppinion on the faded headlights you stated you have. My dad had a caddy that had the same problem and i ended up using a buffer with some compound and wow did it work out great. I know people say the coumpound will scratch the plastic more but i went ahead and tried anyway. We had intensions to change it anyway if it didnt work. They also sell a product that will help but i was told that the plastic carry a clear on them and that is what is causing the fade look instead of the plastic itself being bad. Try it out it work for me.

just my 2cents!!

LMCTruck.com has both the OEM and Euro style replacement headlight assemblies.

I allready tried to polish/buff them but they are yellowed and a million rock chips.I think they only way at this point is replacements...I just don't want the moisture problems.

Thanks

Well i did have the moisture problem and i ended up drilling two small/minor holes underneath in the back area where you cant see and it worked out. I was told becasue of the holes i made it gets rid of the condesation so it wont hold mositure. Once again i didnt buy them it came with my truck.

They look good but $300 for the 4pc set is too much for Non-Projector housings :(

I may have to go this route but I would like to make sure I can fit xenon bulbs in...I am moving up to the White Mountains in 2 weeks and my eyesight sucks...I need something BRIGHT lol :D
