Looking to buy

When i got in from work today i found that my parents are looking at an explorer. Its an 05 xls 4wd for $9900. 50k miles. Its very clean and runs smoothly. Does this price sound good/fair? And is there anything to watch out for around this mileage or soonafter? They are debating on puttin a down payment on it tonight. Any info or tips will be greatly appreciated.

sounds pretty fair to me. i paid 10,500 for my 02 mountaineer with 96,000. so it sounds pretty fair i think.

i paid 9500 for my 03 xlt 4wd with 60k miles last year. price sounds ok, but always have it checked out if any doubt. also I referenced kelly blue book on the 05 you're talkin about. seems like a good price.

They went ahead and bought making it the 3rd explorer at the house
