Explorer XLT 4x4 SOHC
I want to lift my stock 1998 Ford Explorer XLT V6 4x4 SOHC. Should I add a leaf spring? Shackles? Both? Do I need new U bolts or bushings? Should I also get non stock shocks? Any and all information is greatly appreciated! Also, if you have any links or P/N to these parts that would help to ensure clarity. If not, just as well. Thank you!

Most people here for a 2" lift go with a TT (torsion twist) in the front, shackles in the back, some do aftermarket shocks, a lot of people don't. Just don't do what I have linked in my signature, whatever you do, 2" is the easiest thing you can do if you lift, after that most people turn to a body lift, which is a whole new thing.
