I messed up the KOER test because my engine doesn't push the throttle by it's self as some do. When I pushed the throttle during this test, there were no errors !!! Cool, now the only problem is with a weak MAF sensor and possibly still the vacuum leak, which I have chased for days... and not found. Maybe that whistling is not a vacuum leak...it does idle all right. I've tested many of the sensors but being the first time...I have nothing to compare it to otherthan the manual interpretation.

I went to 6 different automotive shops today looking for a MAF sensor. AutoZone had one but when I asked to look at it, it was dirty and appeared to be at the bottom of some river for years!!! They screwed up...it was a core exchange. Second place had one but couldn't find it! Third place had one but it was in another city! Fourth...well you get the picture. Can I purchase a new one on-line? Or, should I purchase from Ford?

Took a late November jetboat ride today and the Ford managed to doo the towing LOL

On every Ford I have ever run diagnostics on you have to blip the throttle manually.
As far as chasing a vacuum leak have you tried using carb cleaner? Using carb cleaner (make sure its safe for O2 sensors) spray along any area that could cause a leak. If you spray the cleaner at the vacuum leak it will suck the cleaner in and cause the idle to drop.

I've got a stock MAF sensor in my bed-room right now. Had just been cleaned right before I got it.

How's $75 plus shipping sound? Can take pics if ya want.
