Lost "D" ... 1,2 & R work fine

It was -10C and I drove my Ford in a deep snow. I just started the engine and the oil in the transmission was cold. When I switch from D to R, it needs 1-2 sec to engage. I forgot about that and switch 2-3 times because of the deep snow. Suddenly I felt BUMP and lost D.
Reverse work fine. 1 & 2 manual work fine too.
Is it the forward Sprag?

That is usually the cause of no drive and reverse with only manual low & second, one thing is for sure something broke.
