91 explorer dash lights and park lights dont work unless u push switch partially back in and its not the switch or fuse can u help me

I would say it probably is the switch
 






The headlight switch goes bad on these, causing the problem. It can also start a fire if not fixed.

You need to buy a new switch and install it.

i bought a switch at autozone then advance, oreillys, then got a OEM ford motorcraft one from local dealer and does same thing?
 






Its not the switch!!! I had the same problem its the fuse. You're getting back feed from one of the other circuits in that switch.

I remember when you had that fun...

When we also had that issue (no dash or parking lights) it was the fuse. The fuse kept blowing because one of the wires in the back of the vehicle (license plate light) had frayed and was shorting out.

IIRC, your (1Byounkin) short was in the tail light housing...

Yes. I have a short in my trailer. Without it no problems!
