I live in Arizona, and whenever I go onto dirt roads all of the dust gets into the cabin of the explorer and there is constantly a nice layer of dust in my vehicle. :thumbdwn:Does anyone know why this is happening and how I might fix it?

Weatherstripping might be going?

maybe try getting a cowl to go over your vent intake where your wippers are. or turn off your circulation vent

what is a cowl?

its like the bug sheild but it goes where your wipers are, so it also covers your intake vents

phoenix, really... I am going to post a thread because I left my windows down...

its a joke...come on....hense the smiley

I am certainly not suggesting you would do that.... appologies if I offended you....

:)

thats alright its a bad week, you did nothing wrong

If you drive with the ac/vents off, does it still get in? That way, you can start to tell where it's all coming from

charlie are you just talking about turning the ac off or doing something else to shut the vents?

id say both. do a little trial and error so you dont start closing and fixing stuff that doesnt need closing and fixing.

remember that if you use a/c setting, it leaves the vents open...max a/c setting closes the outside vents and makes it recirculate
