Can anyone help please. 96 4x4 two door explorer. V6. I have an intermittant loud banging sound coming from left front. So loud I thought I ran over my kids bike. It happens at slow speed (pulling out of driveway), usually on first drive of the day. The noise gets noticably quieter as you drive and sounds like you have a rock in the tire tread, until it goes away completely. Seems like something is low on greas or lube. Front diff?
