Ok, here goes. I placed a new KKM intake system on my 96 xlt and now at idling speeds and low rpms I have this tremendously loud hollow blowing or sucking noise like it is getting too much air or not enough. During the times I am letting it warm up it sometimes does it and it causes the motor to shut off, I usually push on the gas when it does it when I am driving and it goes away. I haven't let it go far enough when driving at slow speeds to see if it would shut off while moving. This is becoming more and more frequent under both circumstances.
Also I did not put the stock screen back in from the original intake. Would that make a difference? And is it possible that with the extremely low temps (in the 20's) it would cause a problem?
Thanks
Mark
