After a 10 hour drive, my explorer is now emitting a deep, sinister sounding roar which reverberates around the cabin. It is loud from 0 to 55 mph, and then it gets quieter at 60 mph. Louder at 65 mph. Louder at higher RPMS. What is it?

WHY NOT TO USE MUFFLER REPAIR TAPE: (before)
The epoxy-based muffler repair cloth exploded when I drove my car on the highway. The stuff is GARBAGE!
$3.50 per set, x5 sets down the drain.
USING AN ALUMINUM SHEET, JB WELD AND STEEL WIRE INSTEAD:
Or, do this. This seems like it will hold up really well, I've taken a metal plate, then pretty much covered the thing in epoxy around where the holes are. I used JB WELD. It's good (says the box) up to 600 degrees. Then tie tightly with steel wire.
