Just a quick update and thanks to everyone who responded. This weekend a buddy from work and I were able to rebuild the transfer case, it really wasn't that bad. The fork in mine hadn't broken yet but one two plastic guides on it had fallen off and was chewed to shreds. The root casue was the elongated holes in the case halves that allows the fork to have too much play and not engage properly and eventually breaks and causes much more damage -- so definately replace or repair the case housings if you have to do it.
If anyone wants to try it themselves and has questions just let me know. Thanks again for all the help.
