After a long search of this site, I was able to find the squeak/grinding sound coming from my front end. Lower left ball joint. This post is to advise the best search words are: Squeak/Grinding. The best advice I found was to use your finger to find the vibration. I could not locate the sound with a stethescope as it was too loud. But, 1 finger on the top ball joint; 1 finger on the lower and viola. I used a needle grease fitting to apply some grease but the boot is badly cracked. Hope to buy some time. Maybe some grease will find its way. Right now the sound is significantly less. Anyway, remember these search words. So many posters cound not find the source of the sound. Good luck.
