lower intake questions

hey, i have an 03 sport trac that has been having so rough idle and poor gas milage issues. i got bank one and two too lean codes the other day and did everything i could find on this forum from cleaning maf and other sensors to putting injector cleaner/seafoam in. at my local advance auto one of the guys said he had the same issues with his windstar and it was the bolts on the lower intake were the rubber seals have deteriorated and air is leaking in. could it be the same thing? i replaced my upper intake gasket about 5 months ago. NO ANTIFREEZE/OIL LEAK AT ALL AT THIS MOMENT.

Have you checked the pcv elbow that cracks, usually on the bottom, and throws these codes? I would do that first, then look at lower intake gaskets.

Yes i have i did that whe i replaced my upper intake
