Lurker introducing 2000 Ex. Lots o pics

Names J.D. I've been a lurker on here for a while. This site has so much good tech that helped with my old 97 Ranger and 03 Mounty and now my 00 Ex. Got the newest Ex in July from the dealership I work at. 1 owner with 55k miles

This is the newest member to the fleet. 2000 Explorer XLT 4.0 SOHC. Not a fan of the motor compared to the OHV I had in the Ranger, but it gets the job done. With the help of this site I was able to replace my RAP module and now have working keyless entry and keypad. Also thanks to this site I have front light brackets for the baby warn lights I have. Thanks to Ronin8002 for inspiring the LED marker lights I put on the front.

The only mods I've done are small since I have no money but here they are

-Warn w350F fog lights with home made brackets
-LED marker Lights
-Maglite mount on console
-Interior LED lights
-LED Puddle lamps
-LED switch plate for future lamps

Future mods are

-Rigid Dually Spots with Amber covers for those CO snowstorms
-TT/AAL and 31s.
-Remote Start

This obstacle was a *****! Stuck for an hour or so just trying to build up and get out.

Nice, it's always cool to see someone offroading a stock Ex. I always thought they did damn good even before a little lift and bigger tires. I like the marker lights and the way you mounted your off road lights too. Do you have a picture of those glowing?

This site is not only a bible for the Ex, it's also full of friendly people. Looks like you've been a member since 2010 so I'm sure you already know that- I'm sure we'll end up meeting up sometime- looks like you enjoy mountain trails like me!
