m50d-r1 Clutch Replacement Advice needed

My girlfriend owns a ranger with the 4 cylinder 2wd. anyway first gear is slipping and I am goingto replace the clutch. Before I get too deep into this I just want to know if there are any secrets or problems awaiting me that I should prepare myself for. Her truck is a '95 and has 116,x.. on it and this is the original clutch. I am very impressed since she has tought two teenagers how to drive on this truck! Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks. By the way, I've lurked on this board for about 3 years and this is my first post. I really enjoy this place, just don't have much to say.

Your title to the thread is a little misleading, mind if I change it to be more reflective of what you need - info regarding clutch replacement ? I'm sure you will get more hits on that thread than a rebuild thread for the tranny.
