I've spent a fair amount of time searching for this question, and haven't found it anywhere, so if you could help, it'd be much appreciated.

I'm looking for the wires that are needed to connect my CPP sensor into under my dash, and I can't find them. Would these wires be possibly routed higher in the dash, instead of down with the rest of the loom because the plug/harness was never to be installed?

I would like to have all my wires connected so I don't have to worry about changing my auto computer to a manual one - don't want to pull the dash to change wire looms. I really don't have any problem running just a couple strands of wire to new plugs/splices near the computer.

Thanks in advance.

94 Limited M5OD swap in progress

50 views and no replies, I guess I stumped everyone. Haha.

Im currently in the middle of puttin all the wires in myself and taking photos and hoping to make a simple write up. But, I have another question for you all (hopefully answerable):

Short of connecting a test lead at each end of the vehicle, is there a way to tell which red/blue wire goes from the ignition control module to the anit-theft controller and which goes to the starter solinoid?

Youve got a limited. Its got a different harness then all the other models. There is no wiring for the clutch switch.

I went through the same problem in my 94 Limited. My simple solution:

At the trans, take the 2 wires for the autos neutral switch, connect them to the neutral sensing switch on the trans. (not all M5s have this switch) If you do, hook it up and it will start only in neutral, no need for the clutch to be pressed.
Ground the red with white wire, thats for the electric shift T-case. With that wire grounded, you can now shift into low range. Be careful you will now have low range shift-on-the-fly capability. I grounded it in the back right at the T-case module, but I'm the only one who drives my truck. You may want to run a momentary contact push button, that you have to press to ground that wire and the low range button. That will keep wandering hands from shifting into low while your moving.
