Does anyone have the install papers for this to fit a 99 sport with the SOHC and some advice or how to do it, I currently use the KKM True Rev install

i put in mine a few months ago. pretty straight forward. take out ur airbox. then removie intake hose from tb, unplug mas, unplug anything else hooked up to the intake, and just pull it out. replace it and the mac for mine came with a metal bracket that holds the filter up a few inches from the fender so it doesnt sag down

im thinking of getting this intake for my 99 sohc. How do u like it? Did u notice any performance improvements and did it beef up the sound of ur exhaust at all?

well i havent done my exhaust yet, all my money is going to my system right now, which is gonna cost me everything i have :p but my intake alone makes a different sound, definately noticable. kinda like a baby f-14. lol, i dont know how to describe it, its like the intake is sucking more air harder because of less restriction. as for gas mpg, i havent noticed anything really, except maybe a bit worse cus i like to hear my intake so i step on the gas a bit harder. but the exhaust, i plan on one flowmaster 40 delta with 2.5 inch duel out in the spring. ill let u know if i see anything after that. but i def wont be hearing my intake over my system soon :D

Mac cold air is cool, it looks good, sounds ayt, and doesn't really do much performance wise...I have it, and it looks nice and all, but i think i would tell someone if i had to do it all over to keep savin for pipes shootin out the back...Dual exhaust is a better way to get a nicer look, more performance increase, and sound is goin to be way cooler than the suckin of air through a hunk of metal.. just my .02
