I'm looking to buy a new intake, but like many others am unsure of what to buy. The KKM doesn't seem worth it because it is $90 for just a filter and the K&N FIPKII is definitely too costly for the amount of benefit it can offer. The Mac Intake will be $145 shipped, and this ebay one will be $65 shipped. With a heat shield, it'll be $90. It comes with the Mandrel-bend aluminum intake pipe that the mac intake has, so I was wondering what the difference was between the two. Correct me if I'm wrong, the intake kits use the stock MAP sensors, so the Mac Intake couldn't be that much better than this generic one.

Any opinions, especially from the Mac owners. I've heard great stuff about them, but if I can get teh same product with a heat shield for $55 less, then I think I'd rather go with the generic one.
