Has anyone tried this radio:
http://www.oem-auto-accessory.com/ford_am_fm_cd_mach_mp3.html
It replaces the factory radio with mp3 capabilities, but will not drive the sub.
For me I have a kicker in the back that is driven off the rear speakers, but the factory radio does not allow much low freq to go to the front and rear speakers, it goes to the sub, such that my kicker does not produce alot of bass, If I go with this MACH radio, I will get full freq out to the kicker, and it may be enough not to need the factory sub.....
At this time I am not thinking of going aftermarket.....
