Like many of you, I was having a rough idle on startup. I did a search and decided it was most likely the MAF sensor. I couldnt find any threads with the location of it, but with all the descriptions that were around, i finally found it (i think). There is the plastic piece that latches up with the airbox (before the tube that goes halfway across the engine bay to the TB). Inside that piece, there is sonething that resembles what everyone is describing. I can't get to it because there is a wiring harness that goes in through the side of the box that connects on the inside to the MAF sensor. I'm afraid to disconnect that because it appears to be connected on the inside and i dont want to break anything.

yes, the sensor is in there. You have to take the airbox apart to get at the sensor. Don't worry about being too rough on it, as long as you don't break the wires or damage the sensor filaments there's nothing to it.
