Magnaflow or flowmaster?

thank you alec, well put. i will proably go with a flow master 40 with stock pipes i think that is what i am looking for. but i will also look at magnaflow to and see what the dealer has to say and what the two prices are.

At least upgrade to a new 2.25" tailpipe.

what do i have on their now? i dont know the pipe looks to be in great shape it is the original one with 200000+ miles could it be in bad shape, would i get more horse and torque with up grading the pipe or too little back pressure? how much would it cost

Your stock pipe is probably 2". It will definately help the power and sound to replace it. A new tailpipe usually costs about $30 on top of a muffler install.
