On Sunday I was doing some tests on my air con to try and figure out why it wasn't working.

One of the pinpoint tests in the tech manual said to jump pins 1 and 3 in the mode switch.

I did this and the clutch didn't engage. However my door ajar alarm started to work which was wierd as it had never worked before.

now my heaters don't blow hot, my turn signals don't work and neither do my headlights. also the door opening chime has stopped working and when I switch off the engine. The car starts to beep.

oh and my aorbag light flashes code 52.

anyone got any ideas?

All fixed now.

Still got the airbag code flashing but I think that's something to do with me having the battery removed for about 24 hours while I charged it. The rest was a broken fuse (unsure which one), a couple of corroded lamp holders and a broken bulb. Some of my battery drain was also solved by disconnecting an aftermarket wire entry. However.. The wire is traced to a cylinder being the grill and I don't know what it is. The car seems to run fine and everything seems to be working. but I haven't had time to figure out what the item in question is. I'll have to get some pics up and see if anyone knows.

The other half of the battery drain we can't find (1/2amp).

also my alternator was outputting 13.7 and after changing the belt it's now at 14.02. so better than it was and adequate enough to recharge then battery.
