1994 xlt, everything seems fine on it, plus it looks good inside and out. I had questions about the trans (it leaked a little one time) but after checking, it seems that that was do to me beating the **** out of it. It cannot leak fluid unless I do to it what I did to it, which I'm not willing to do anymore. Problem is, HP; I'd like more. Might be cheaper to redo the engine then to do deal with a broken trans. which will follow. I gotta guess that almost anything I do to it to increase HP, is going to crap out the trans too. So, I guess what I'm asking is this: If you had a perfectly running, stock 4.0, w/ a stock auto trans, which also works fine, what would you do to upgrade (from 160hp or whatever it is) to something more... well whatever better.
I could rebuild the engine and drivetrain at the same time. Should I bother? If that's the case, what's the best way through.
