Yeah my 97 has the release in the grill. My dads 98 is just under the hood.

My 95 Sport hood latch release stopped working years ago. I carry a screw driver around to unlatch. I do like the hood pin idea and may adopt. They are cool looking, even th eolder style pins and cables would be cool.

We had the grill from an old 210 Bass speaker cab. Cut two pieces and slid 'em in. That should take care of the big-@$$ bugs we keep cleaning from the radiator. We'll look for a more open mesh next summer if there are any temperature issues.
