manual for ball joint 01 sports trac

i need to replace the upper and lower ball joints on my 01 sports trac dealer says 1000$ i think not wandering if any body has a link to any manual of replacing them 3 of the for are bad tires wear crappy on the inside of the right front the wores i need to get this fix before winter got most of t he tools that i need but would hope some one could help with a manual thanks D

Go to the Stock '95-01 Explorer forum here and there's extremely detailed project threds on both uppers and lowers, I just did all four of mine on my '03 Trac and my wifes '97 Mountaineer.
