manual hub question?????

i currently have auto hubs. if i switch to manuals do i need the cam stuff that is on the spindle, held on by c-clip. or do i remove all of it and just get the conversion kit???thx tried a search but didnt find any info.

Yes get the conversion kit. You'll need the new nuts as the new manual hub will not clear the auto's cam mechanism.
