I converted my automatic hublocks to the manual hublocks and changed the nuts that adjusts the bearing preload. I can't keep the nuts from backing out on the driver side. The passenger side is fine and is staying tight but the driver side no matter how tight I make it it keeps on coming loose. Naturally it is the driver side that's going to work its way loose first because of the rotation of the tire. I am running 35 inch BFG's. I read on the home page of how the nuts keep coming loose because of the use of larger than stock tires. The last incident I used a 24" breaker bar to tighten the nut down and I think it is already coming loose. I am even thinking of going back to auto hubs so I can use the old style lock nuts with the keyway lock to prevent it from coming loose. Does anyone have any ideas?

Go get yourself some Loctite Threadlocker. That should solve your problem.
