I am considering getting rid of my Edelbrock IAS shocks. The two front shocks now have 50K miles on them. They are no where near as firm as they were when they were new. It only takes about 40 lbs. to push them in. They come back out very slowly as expected. I am certain than I had a very difficult time pushing the shock all the way in when they are new. Now I can easily push them in. Either I got much stronger (not likely) or my shocks got much weaker (likely). I haven't removed my rear shocks yet but I suspect that I will find the same situation.

Anyways, this brings me to my point. I did enjoy the ride and handling they provided when they were new. Since they have a lifetime warranty, I am going to send them all back to Carparts.com and have them exchanged for new shocks. I already had them exchange one a couple years ago when it developed a leak and they didn't give me any trouble at the time. Since I am considering going with OME shocks, I am considering selling my new Edelbrocks when I get them. If there is a possibility that someone here would want a complete set of four new Edlebrock shocks (ED3309 front & ED3409 rear) for probably about $150 for the set (half the price new shocks) then I will consider posting them for sale on the for sale board and will go ahead and order my OME shocks. If no one would be interested in them then I will probably just put the new Edelbrocks on again since I do like the ride when they are new.

Would anyone be interested in them for $150 if I can get all 4 exchanged for new? I'm not asking for a commitment since I'm not positive that they will give me all 4 if they determine that one or two are not bad. If there is enough interest, I'll put them up for sale if I get 4 new shocks.
