Marvel Mystery Oil - the nuclear option

I have read some forums on the benefits of adding MMO to your engine to help clean out sludge and was wondering if... about 1000 miles before the next oil change, I removed the filter and added a new filter pre-filled with MMO... if that initial blast of straight Mystery Oil would fork things up.

Haven't done it, may not, just wanted to hear some comments

Transmision fluid has detergents, and would probably do the same job cleaning everything out. Another option is to add Seafoam to the oil, and drain it.

Seafoam! Stuff is great..in oil, in gas..load it in a vacuum line to blow out carbon..I used it with great results to clean out a sludge ridden ranger...1 can in with oil, then change out after 3000 miles...

I wouldn't leave it in the engine for 3,000 miles. It will continue to churn sludge, and is better to drain it after driving a few miles.
