Howdy,

Just wondering if anybody knows offhand the size of the thread on the screws holding the MAS sensor into the aluminum MAS body? I am going to clean the MAS soon, and want to replace the D^^%&*(#^*^%(*$^N Security Torx screws that it has now...

Thanks for any replies...:D

Not exactly sure. But you can pick up a whole set at Sears or Advance Auto for relatively cheap. Just something else to add to your toolchest.

I believe it is a security torx bit. Not sure of the exact size, but you can get a whole set for like $4.

or you can just get the apex's that take out the torx screws. they are pretty cheap. I think that method would be easier. Otherwise you could take out the screw and go to the hardware store and check which nut fits on there till you find the right one, then you will konw what screw to get. Like I said, the first method would be easier.

It's a Torx-20 (T-20) bit
